JOB DESCRIPTION
The Secretary is one of the principal officers of the Charity and, as a Committee member, is also a Trustee. In this role he/she oversees the smooth running of the Charity.
Principal duties are as follows:
COMMITTEE
- Convene Committee meetings
- Prepare agendas in consultation with the Chair
- Record minutes
AGM
- Convene the annual AGM of the charity
- Book premises for AGM and circulate public notice
- Record minutes
SECRETARIAL
- Deal with correspondence, write letters, send emails as required
- Arrange for any necessary reporting
- Provide secretarial support service to all Committee members
MISC
- In conjunction with the Chair carry out any other actions which may from time to time become necessary
